This book is almost identical to #VampireAcademy. Lucky for mrs armentrout I LOVE VA, and it has been several years since I‘ve read it! This one has the Novella at the beginning, and it‘s a rough slow start, in fact I DNF‘d it for a while before coming back and devouring it.

*there are some truly horrendous grammatical errors in this book. But it seems to get better. That‘s a huge reason I first put the book down.

I really enjoyed this. It had mythology, fantasy, action, and romance all packed into it. I did wish there was a bit more world building, but there may be more in later books since this is a series. I really loved Alex and Aiden.

I'm surprise I like it. I really enjoyed reading it. Yes it's cheesy and predictable but sometimes I like these kind of books.
I like the romance, even if it was insta-love, it was still cute. The characters are, well I didn't like any of them except Aiden. Him, I like.
I wouldn't recommend this booknto everyone but if you liked City of Bones than I think you would like this.

The book sound so similar like Vampire Academy when I first listening to it. And I hated the narrator btw. Tonnes of emo running through while listening. Like wanting to hit the mc for being reckless, idiot and stupid. Yet my heart breaks for her at some scenes. I can‘t comment much cos this is a series and I‘m just starting toward book 2. #audio

The first book in the Covenant series, this book was a fast, fun read full of action, adventure and YA paranormal angst. There is a bit of everything, Greek mythology, romance, fantasy... Despite not being a fan of this genre, Armentrout managed to pull me into this world. My curiosity may get the better of me pushing me toward the next book in this series as I really do want to see where things go for Alex, Aiden and Seth.

Rescued this brand new beauty from the Goodwill for $.69!!!

It was alright . Lol I still struggled with connecting to the main character and I feel like the author focuses too much on the love aspect. The mythology seems a cool way to go but is more like background noise at this point and I wish it had more prominence. Will read the second book to see if this changes.

Working on this one now . So far I'm not really connecting to the book but I'm not too far in, so hoping that will change . :)

Der erste Band ist ein sehr guter Auftakt zur der Buchreihe "Dämonentochter". Und für den Spinoff Band "Erwachen des Lichts" was jetzt am 12.06.2017 erschienen ist.

I literally couldn't put the book down and had to read it in one sitting. Crazy!

This is series made me fall in love with Jen's books! Seriously if you have read it yet it's a must read!!
