I couldn‘t put this book down from page one. We‘re there slow parts, yes. But honestly by the time I got to the middle of this book you couldn‘t get me to stop - I had to see what was going to happen.

She‘s trying to hide from her ex, an abusive police officer. She‘s done all she can to make a new life for herself, but he‘s on to her again.

Karen Rose is one of my favorite authors. Chicago Series started off with a bang. Hard to put down. Last 100 pages I could not put it down!

CoverToCoverGirl She does write a twisty tale that usually involves a trail of dead bodies. Revisiting her entire body of work.. now reading

Her first of the series. Dramatic. Long. Suspenseful. But not my fav. I‘m not much of Max‘s fan. Caroline & her Son faked their own deaths to escape her abusive Husband. She‘s still living in fear even though she doesn‘t admit it. N now her abusive Husband finally found them. #karenrose #romanticsuspense
