It‘s been a while! I‘ve been busy with my new job, but I still wanted to check my book for this month in #ReadAroundTheWorld. This month, the country was our neighbor #Peru and I‘m cheating a wee bit here because I read this book long ago. While I‘m not a huge fan of Vargas Llosa, this book is an interesting essay about one of my favorite books in the entire world, Les Miserables. @JenP

BarbaraBB Good to see you back! I am not a fan of Vargas Llosa either but this one sounds great. Good luck with the job! 6y
TheAnitaAlvarez @BarbaraBB his latest books are awful. And of his early work I‘ve only enjoyed one novel. When he got the Nobel Prize I was genuinely shocked 6y
