I‘ve been generally good at sticking to my #bookbuyban but I broke it a little in June. So, Bk1 of my #JuneBookHaul is the 3rd book in Brodsky‘s “Olympus Bound” series about the goddess Artemis, now living in NYC, protecting women in trouble. After gradually losing most of her powers, she‘s now dealing with rogue elements of her family who are determined to get theirs back by any means possible. I loved the first two so have high hopes

Book 3 in this trilogy. Artemis/Selene survives the attempt on her life and is hunting down the Mithrithan cult that attacked her family and kidnapped Zeus. Theo, thinking she‘s dead, is trying to find the cult through his research. This is a satisfying thick book and I can‘t wait to sink into it.

Satisfying conclusion to an intriguing trilogy

Day 3 of internet outages and my bed looks like this now. Okay, my bed always looks like this 😂

Life this weekend was conspiring against my reading. Little Man was sick with a fever/cold (still is), and the baby was a teething monster. Somehow, I've made it to the halfway mark of this book though! All I want to do is read it because it's getting so good. Hopefully I can get some more read today. #Fingerscrossed

I have gotten to read a whopping 9 pages today. It's been a day! Now, the little monkeys are in bed and I'm settled on the couch with my tea and huge duvet. Hoping hubby isn't chatty this evening. #QuietMommysReading #NoMoreInterruptions

I have really loved this series. Greek Gods and romance and action it's so so good. If you like Rick Riodan books but are a grown up this is the series for you!

Theo or Flint/Hephaestus? Which would you choose?

I‘ve been struggling with this (part of the book hangover). You get to know Flint & the depths of his love for Selene more in this book. At times you feel the same tension she does debating with herself & her love for each of them. Both have a lot of great qualities. So, I‘m curious, who were you pulled to throughout the series?

Any book that gets me finish it in 9 DAYS has got to be good! This installment was as excellent as the previous 2; thrilling, emotional, heart-string-pulling, witty, magical, & a heavy dose of Greek mythology. Nursing a heavy book hangover after this one as no other book can properly fill this void. My favorite "part" was getting to know some of the gods & relationships on a personal level.

Had plans to be out and about adulting but the hubs doesn't feel well so I thought it best to stay home...and since he's asleep and there are NO KIDS AROUND I'm getting my read on! Who hoo!

So when I hallucinate what Theo Schultz looks like I picture him looking very similar to Milo Thatch from the movie Atlantis...just maybe a bit taller. Anyone else? Or is that just me? What/who do you hallucinate?
