This book is full of positive words to all girls, teaching them about self acceptance and self reflection. It also connects to the book Dear Boy, which I would suggest reading together as a RA.

EL strategy 3- encourage self talk will fit perfectly with this book, as students are being encouraged to relate the the book. 3y
