Enjoyable but not her best. Romantic suspense where two child survivors of a cult investigate whether the cult leader faked his own death 20 some-odd years ago.

Found a new use for my TBR pile; turns out it's the perfect height to elevate my sprained ankle. On the upside, I now have a good excuse to sit around and read.

I have been sick, or I would have finished this yesterday. It's a fast paced book, unless you are coughing your head off☺ This is the 2nd book in this series. I never read the 1st and was not lost at all. Romantic suspense.

A fast paced thriller with lots of twists & turns, this is classic JAK in the best sense. It does connect with other books but can be read as a stand-alone.

This is a good romantic suspense novel. Heroines and heroes are not ever the most gorgeous (yeah) but are always unique or compelling and I could have sworn the description of this heroine was lifted directly from a previous novel...could be mistaken because i couldn‘t find it (it was 0100 and i wanted to go to bed). Also, the bad guy pitches his victims cell phone so no one knows she called him...hello cell phone co records. Good. Not best.
