A similar story to the last one, in that it's about a rejected member getting back/revenge. I did enjoy the game within a game bit though. I'm interested to see where they go from here.

Sometimes starting a sequel after a long hiatus from the series feels like revisiting old friends. ❤️

Doing some plant care before I tackle even more unpacking/organizing. Finding myself in need of silly books lately, so finishing up Fight and Flight (4th in this series, not listed). I was worried that it would be hard for the author to make a new source of conflict after the last book, but these guys creating their own problems is so very believable, and it is making me smile.

Finishing up this trilogy. So far, this one is the most interesting of the 3

Book 14 for the year is finishing up this trilogy.

I'm sticking this series out because I got suckered in by the $4.95/ea sale and I liked the premise, but faux feminism and blatant racism that pretends to be facetious is peppered throughout. I'd have taken a hard pass if I'd have read a review that said as much.

Phillip! My favorite character of the group, but honestly Martin, Tyler, Gwen, & both Brits are all fabulous gaming characters in this fun series about a hacker who find the hidden computer code to change the game code/matrix that is life and decides to use his new skills (and subroutines and Macros) to live as a wizard in medieval England (for the most part). #GamingInTheLitWorld #OctPhotoChallenge A happy accident find for me & fun on audio too!

The 3rd book in the series is (finally) addressing how male gamers treat women, but I hope it gets a bit more aggressive about it. Really enjoying this adventure.
