1. A piece from the game Hedbanz that my kids left out & the ARC strip on my current read
2. 7
3. Yes 😂
4. The last time I cut it, I donated my ponytail and then pretty much shaved the rest bc my students helped me raise $1500 for Cancer (still growing out, so not much need for a haircut)
5. It's actually my current read. It's already out even though this is the ARC. It's good but the format takes a little getting used to.

When the title is an Emily Dickinson reference, you HAVE to buy the book.

Theresa I just read that last week. I'm not a poetry person so I struggled a bit but in the end I liked it. 6y

Y'all, this book killed me. The way Will writes about loss, grief, poetry, and pop music? It's just beautiful. When David Levithan tells you a book is astonishing he's not playing around. It comes out May 29th. Now all I need is a playlist of all the songs in the book. #lgbtreads #gayya

How do you deal with a hole in your life?

Do you grieve?

Do you drink?

Do you make out with your best friend?

Do you turn to poets and pop songs?

Do you question everything?

Do you lash out?

Do you turn the lashing inward?

If you're Avery, you do all of these things. And you write it all down in an attempt to understand what's happened -- and is happening -- to you.

Branwen Wow! This looks incredible! 😃 6y

It‘s always exciting when a wonderful person publishes a book, but as a bookseller (currently on hiatus 😉), I find it a little bit *extra* exciting when that person is a bookseller. It must be such an amazing feeling to see your own books on a shelf. Wil is a great writer and an employee of the marvelous Avid Bookshop! 💛

Utopiyll That is so wonderful! I could only imagine how they would be feeling right now, seeing their own book in stores. 6y
