Wonderful friend arrived with vegan sushi for dinner. It was my first real venture into sushi and certainly won't be my last. We even had sake wine 🙃🙃😝🤩😍🥂🥂

This is Bridget Jones Diary-style (and era) romcom fiction, but 50% less interesting. It‘s long, slow, and most characters are too bland to invest in. If I hadn‘t been listening as an audio book, I never would have committed and made it to the end. A lot of slow building, mediocre drama, with minimal payoff. Don‘t recommend but I have read (listened to) worse.

A middle of the road Keyes book - not her best but not her worst

I've had this on my shelf for ages, and I was looking forward to it, having thought I enjoyed her work in the past. I got 17% (3:12:49) in, and I'm just not in the mood. So I'm bailing, at least for now.

I could not put this book down. I saw this book in the movie Me before you, I just had to know what Louisa Clark was reading! I loved this book...

It's been RIDICULOUSLY hot in Missoula so I've spent most of my time working through books that take little to zero brain power. Just pure enjoyment the whole time. How's your summer reading treating you?

I try to read this book for so many times and now I could finally finish it. I liked the book but I didn't love it because there where sections that bothered me... the segments about how they build up the new magazine was kinda boring to me. But nevertheless I liked it and it was easy to read.

I would recommend it to those of you who are into that kinda genre but if your not familiar with it... it's not worth a try.

Began to read a new book yesterday... yeah I know I read two other books at the same time... but I can't help it 😉 aaand so far I'm liking it.

I have mixed feeling about this book.... I found the characters hard to like which can it made it hard to like the book at first. By the end, however, the characters redeemed themselves and it ended in a nice neat little bow!

Home sick for the second day so I might as well get some reading time in! 😷

This gorgeousness is a Lily Roll - shrimp tempura sushi with crab and avocado on top. It's amazing, and just looking at it is making my mouth water. I thought Sushi for Beginners was an appropriate pairing! Also a super cute book. #17booklove #bookandmealilove
