Pickpick

Picked this up for a quick read and it‘s a pretty good historical fiction novel for young readers. Told from a 14th century hunting dog‘s perspective, it deals with a peasant uprising. Things are pretty bleak and there‘s quite a high body count, but based on my reading of non-fiction about this period, that‘s accurate to the way things were at the time. I probably would‘ve loved this if I‘d read it as a pre-teen.
