10 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
Surrender to the fantastical world of your deepest dreams . . . where butterflies float upon shifting mists set aglow by the rising sun. A place where twisting branches arc across shimmering skies, willowy fairies dance on air, and tree spirits sing from a hallowed oak. Delve into the shadows of your dreams--and awaken to truth. Weaving together Asian, Celtic, and fantasy styles of artwork, this breathtaking new Rider-Waite-Smith-based tarot deck by renowned artist Stephanie Pui-Mun Law is infused with universal symbols found in fairy tales, myths, and folklore from cultures around the world. A companion guidebook presents the artist's evocative interpretations of each card's significance. It also features an introduction by award-winning tarot expert Barbara Moore that includes tarot basics, instructions for giving insightful readings, and practical spreads.

I love her artwork. I can‘t stand the guidebook. Also, some of the cards, I just don‘t connect with (especially my significant or Queen of Cups). And the art is super detailed and hard to see sometimes unfortunately. Overall, beautiful but not useful or insightful, for me personally. #tarot

It‘s been a long time since I attempted a #tarotreading on my own, but I found this gorgeous deck in a little shop in Gettysburg and it called to me. I haven‘t used them yet, because they haven‘t been purified, but I‘ll get around to that when it‘s cooler outside. It‘s too hot to sit on the deck and burn sage.
The artwork is just stunning, though.

alisiakae That is a beautiful deck! Do you remember which shop in Gettysburg? There are a few cute shops there I love to go into whenever I go home for a visit. 5y
DGRachel @4thhouseontheleft I can't remember the actual name of the shop, but it's a shop that sells crystals, stones, divination tools, essential oils, sage smudge sticks, and other similar items and is located right across the street from the Jenny Wade House/Museum. 5y

A day late... #TarotTakeover Day 4: #TheFool

I love romance novels, no matter if it‘s paranormal, historical, contemporary or whatever else they come up with. The things they usually have in common: there‘s some adventure, lots of passion and pleasure and usually a new beginning. So no wonder the Fool reminded me of them!
