The Plum Tree is a WWII novel focused on the experience of Christine, a young German woman who loves a Jewish man. Experiencing the war from the perspective of a German victim was unique. It was slow t0 get going, picked up about halfway, and felt rushed at the end. 3.5 stars

pickBeautiful. Such an emotional read, I had to put it down and walk away twice. This is the 2nd book I've read by Wiseman and it didn't disappoint. Very well written account of the horrors and heartache of the war in Germany. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

*was looking to post another book this came up and made me go awe..
Tried thriftbooks.com for the first time and learned the hard way that "very good condition" might be a former library book with labels and all, and "acceptable" looks like this. Basically they call it acceptable if you can still read it! Any other experiences?
