#abbainaugust #mylovemylife

This was one of my favourite books in the 90s. But then it was just what I liked - a coming of age story about an artist (in this case an actor) coming to a big city (New York) to try and make it and living a hard scrabble life with amazing and amusing friends. And Emma is both #mylove AND #mylife saver! Must reread and see if it‘s still as good as I remember.

batsy Ooh! Adding to the TBR pile :) 6y

Centique @batsy yay! Hope you like it. I feel like it must still stand up well if you like it too @Redwritinghood 😁👍 6y
Centique @emilyhaldi and it‘s set in the 70s so even MORE of a throw back 😂😂 6y
Centique @Meredith3 yeah...if Carrie was a broke young man in love with both of his room-mates! 😂😂 6y

#bestlastsentences This sentence is a little bit long, but I do like the end of it as a close to this book. BTW - the description of this book in the Litsy database doesn't do it justice. #marchintoreading
