Harrow County Volume 4: Family Tree | Cullen Bunn

The Southern horror series continues and is now under development for a SyFy Network television show! Emmy believes she is one of a kind, that there is no one else in the world quite like her. As strangers arrive in Harrow County, though, she discovers just how wrong she is. Are these beings--each possessing strange and ghastly supernatural abilities--her family? Collects the Dark Horse comic series Harrow County #13-#16. Praise for Harrow County from those who know their way around a good horror story! "Genuinely creepy and engaging, plus delicious art." -Mark Millar (Kick-Ass) "Harrow County #1 is worth checking out if you're a horror comic fan!" -Clive Barker (Hellraiser) "A rare thing, both wonderfully charming and genuinely disturbing." -Mike Mignola (Hellboy)

Great story as usual as well as the graphics. This time Emmy meets her family and not sure if they have good intentions or not. Loved all the creepy characters and the ending.

This series gets better and better! A slightly creepy, and a little gory, southern gothic. In this volume we got to meet some of Emmy‘s “family “ and find out what happened to her mother. I like this series in general, but reading it in October is perfect!

cjk Anxiously waiting for my library hold to become available. 4y
GypsyKat @cjk What volume are you on? 4y
cjk I just finished reading volumes 1 & 2- wow, just wow! I desperately want to plow through all 8 volumes now, but I have to be at work in 9 hours. Maybe just one more volume before bed...😬 4y
GypsyKat @cjk They‘re really good! And they get better as they go on! 4y

Ah, yuck.. Emmy's "family" didn't seem too family-like. Also got to see what happened to her mom, which was pretty sad :( (3pts. 2 for theme, 1 for post)

This horror series really starts hitting its stride in this installment. Emmy encounters the Family, a group of otherworldly beings that claim to be her family. But are they? And why are they showing themselves now? A strong continuation of this rich Southern gothic story.
