An unnerving and eerie read that left me apprehensive about the future of mankind and our growing dependence on artificial intelligence in our lives. For a short story this thriller packed quite a punch and was able to evoke in me the feelings of uneasiness, that I love when reading a thriller. Written with short punchy chapters, its easily a sit down and read in one sitting kind of thriller- which is just what you need sometimes. ⭐⭐⭐

Finished up book 57/365 for the year before I feel asleep last night. Since I‘ve been reading slower this week since I‘ve been so busy with work, these shorter audiobooks have been great for keeping my interest. A lot happens in a short amount of time, so even if I only read for 30 mins, I feel like I‘m still getting a ways into the story. #JumpStart2020 #LitsyAtoZMystery

The dolls were considered an excellent idea. A women designed to cater to your every whim. A woman who was perfect in every way, at everything.....well almost...there was one little flaw. They may decide to kill you.
Lana Wallace, an Investigative reporter has never covered a story like this. Its tricky when you learn so many secrets.

I literally finished this in a matter of hours. Millionaire's are being murdered. They all have AI sex companions. Coincidence? This wasn't a mind-blowing whodunit but it was fast-paced and interesting. And JUST what I needed to get myself out of this reading slump! (Image from a Breitbart article that was EERILY similar to the tech they were working on in the book...)

Target book/magazine haul.. (and the kittens one of many toys).. because, why not ! 🙈
