The Midnight Sea by @katross2014 was SO GOOD!! I am so glad that I got the chance to read it! Lovers of fantasy and romance will fall in love with the main characters the world they live in!

I really don't know what happened with this book, but I didn't like it. I didn't like the characters, even if usually I like this kind of characters. The only one that interested me, a little, was Victor. I couldn't care for the story either, even if a story full of events. For me it was just plain.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great historical fantasy (still not sure if this is a genre) with a diverse cast and slightly reminiscent of Philip Pullman‘s His Dark Materials.

Today, I had my hair cut short and visited my sister (and her cat). I also received a $5 credit for Amazon ebooks, so I bought this trilogy for $0.99 and used the rest of it to reduce the price of Isaac‘s Storm by Erik Larson.

I finished this a short while ago, was an interesting read, am interested enough I'd get the 2nd book, but I definitely had some issues with it. 🙁

It needed more 'show' & less 'tell'; it needed to balance out the timeline, too many time skips - would be great if we're informed of a time skip instead of just dropping us into a whole new scene x years later 🤔 Although, it did get better past the 70% mark😅

A great read loosely twisting a bit of ancient worlds into an adventurous story.

At first I wasnt sure if I was going to end up finishing this book, but I am glad I did because it got better towards the end of the book. I really love the characters in this book and you come to love and hate a few by the end! I recommend that you give this book a shot and you wont be disappointed! Now i have to get the rest for the books in this series!
