I started this thinking it was one kind of book, but then it turned into something I wasn‘t quite expecting. I couldn‘t put it down-I finished this in 2 sittings. ****definite trigger warnings***

Violet Grenade was filled with intrigue. A slice of action and thriller and bammo! You got this novel.
I didn‘t prefer it, and don‘t think it should be categorized as a YA novel due to strong language and the stream of violence and sexual innuendo/harassment.
But if those things don‘t bother you, pick up this book. It held my attention and I finished it in one setting.

This fell very short for me, maybe because it's been done before in different ways. It took me a few weeks to read it and I forced myself to finish it because I wanted to like it. It did not have a satisfying ending since it left a few things hanging in the air. It was like a puzzle with missing pieces. The characters were flat and unlikable. Had it's good points but those were overshadowed heavily by the negatives overall.

Wilson is totally my favorite character, I love his he is always trying to protect Domino. But I do wonder if Victoria wrote this with mental illness in mind? Because I know that he is only a figment of her imagination but he seems very real to Domino? My thoughts on this?

When I read the synopsis of Violet Grenade I was not expecting the story the Victoria Scott produced but I am so glad this is the story she wrote! It has so many ups and downs and the characters are such rounded and lively, you can truly see yourself in parts of them. This thriller had me on the edge of my seat the entire read, I can't wait to read more of her novels!

💜💜I loved this book so much. I couldn't stop reading once I started. It was dark and twisted and beautifully written. I truly love the way Scott writes, it feels very relatable. If you're looking for a fun summer read I highly suggest snagging this beauty! 💜💜

This book was...weird, but I enjoyed every minute of it! Exciting plot, powerful characters, and a sense of danger. One explosive combination! I gave it a solid 4/5 stars

So this is kind of a typical cover. It's been done before, but I still love it and find the blurb interesting. #coverlove
