Up to her eyes with her friends' dramas, Harriet Grey has no time for her own. Let alone getting entangled with John Mackenzie. He might be the most gorgeous man she's met for ages. But he's involved with someone else. Nina. Glamorous Nina wasn't exactly Harriet's best friend at school, but Harriet has principles. Still, surely one innocent little drink to repay a favour wouldn't hurt? Her friends aren't so convinced. Harriet tries to be strict, but John Mackenzie won't stay out of her life. When she finds herself alone at Christmas, she'd have to be a saint to walk away. And halos never did suit Harriet ...

I post about this book every year, but it's one of my absolute favorites, and is hands-down my favorite romance. Main character Harriet feels so real, as do her friends and family, and her love interest, John. And I'm a sucker for the penultimate chapter, which makes Prague seem like the perfect, romantic #WinterWonderland. #DecemberSong

I read this years ago, and it still remains my #FavoriteLoveStory. Harriet's friends and family feel so real, and her relationship with John never fails to make me #smile. There is a wonderfully swoony climax in the snow, in Prague, and it gets me every time! #FebruaryFeels #ReallyRandomFebruary

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Pretty!! I‘m thinking I‘m going to have the same problem 🤷🏼‍♀️💞 5y
vkois88 I don't think it's as common as color for books... even romances lean more towards the crimsons 5y
JuliaTheBookNerd @vkois88 Pink, yellow and silver seem to be underused book colors 😊💕💛🔗 5y
vkois88 Ooooh, silver would be beautiful! 5y

Fair Game is one of my favorite books ever, and despite this rather spring-y cover, is beautifully #SetInWinter. If you're a romance/chick lit fan, I can't recommend this one highly enough. It takes place mainly in London around Christmastime, with a gorgeous little sliver set in snowy Prague. In America, it's called A Promising Man (And About Time, Too). Whichever title you find it under, let me know what you think of it! #DeckTheShelves

This is my favorite chick-lit ever, and one of my favorite winter-weather books. We got 9 inches of snow today, so what better to do than stay in with twinkle lights and eggnog and Harriet and John's romance in snowy London and Prague? #winterreads #snowedin #seasonsreading
