Just to be clear, this isn‘t sponsored or anything, I just like this app, and I thought some of you walkers might be interested ❤️

Claudette Colvin was only 15 years old on March 2, 1955 when she refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus. Her arrest and conviction didn't start the Montgomery Bus Boycott that would begin in December, but she was a spark that got the attention of many. The boycott would last 381 days. Thousands of people boycotted by carpooling or walking until December 21, 1956 when the order to desegregate the buses was given.
