I cannot get enough of Flewelling‘s Nightrunner series. This is the second book and it wraps up the ends left open in the first book (Luck in the Shadows) masterfully and the LGBTQ romance gave me goosebumps; it was so good. I cannot wait to jump into the third book and continue on Seregil and Alec‘s journey together. This is great for fans of high fantasy & heist books (like the Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.) #Nightrunner #LynnFlewelling

Second book in the series, stakes are much higher, and it's a lot more gay. 👌👍👌👍 Still a fan. I love these two protagonists so much, and if you're a high fantasy/political intrigue fan, this may be the epic romance/adventure for you! #queerfantasy #queerbooks #lgbtfantasy

This book was an adventure. A bit predictable, but that doesn't lessen the impact of the story in my opinion. I love seeing the character growth, not only between Alec and Seregil, but also Beka and even Thero!
