I don‘t care how many historians speak well of him. Animal lovers will hate how many stories he wrote with main characters killing them for sport. Some of his stories were like he was writing under the influence and sounded like they were written by 5 year olds. One of the characters in A Pursuit Race was obsessed with his bedsheet. Some of the better ones felt unfinished and/or mediocre, and at worst, one nsfw story.

To be able to say: I loved this person, we had a hell of a nice time together, it‘s over but in a way it will never be over and I do know that I for sure loved this person, to be able to say that and mean it, that‘s rare, señor. That‘s rare and valuable.

Of course, when looking for somewhere to have a drink after an event, I end up at a place called Hemingway's!

I picked up this typewriter at an auction a few years ago and had no idea how heavy it was! I had to carry it several blocks in the snow back to my car, but it totally worth it ?
