I'm such a huge Tarantino fan and this movie like all the rest of them are filled with all sorts of superb quotes and mesmerising characters.

Came across this book today and had to get it, it's really just the whole screenplay but I couldn't pass it up!

JackOBotts Inglorious Basterds is way up there; also Kill Bill Vol. 1. There‘s no way for me to watch one scene of either and walk away...I‘m all in every time. 4y

TheNeverendingTBR @LeahBergen I like how he's connected his storylines and characters in a Stephen King sort of way, like for instance Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction and Vic Vega from Reservoir Dogs are brothers etc. Fun fact, he was planning a movie called The Vega Brothers but Michael Madsen and John Travolta are to old now obviously. 🤷‍♂️ 4y

nathandrake1997 @TheNeverendingTBR On the contrary ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD was one of the few Tarantino films I actually loved ? I'm usually not a fan of his style, but here something clicked! In most of his films, my major gripe is the fact that every character ultimately feels like a mouthpiece for "witty Tarantino dialogue" and as a result, I could see more of "Tarantino" than the characters themselves which in turn hampered my immersion considerably.. 4y

nathandrake1997 @TheNeverendingTBR .....ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD felt like his only film where the characters felt like flesh and blood people instead of mere extensions of Tarantino's script. Although my opinions regarding Tarantino usually tend to be unpopular (mainly my dislike for INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, a film which except for some stunning cinematography and that incredible opening 20 minute sequence, did not work for me at all)😅 4y

Vansa My favourite is, predictably Pulp Fiction, though I really loved Once upon a time I. Hollywood too. I found the soundtrack of Once upon a time absolutely stellar, and I LOVED the references to classic westerns and WWII movies- The "cooler king" scene was excellent! I agree with the comments above, I really didn't like Inglourious Basterds,and hated Django Unchained,so self indulgent and that bizarre Aussie-accented cameo!! 4y
