Today's author spotlight: (Florence Onyebuchi) Buchi Emecheta! Born in Lagos, Nigeria, she died in London this year at 72. She wrote 20+ books. She married Sylvester Onwordi, whom she was engaged at 11, at 16. One of her jobs was librarian for the British Museum, & she worked at many universities and organizations. She would be called the first successful black woman novelist in Britain after 1948. #AuthorPotpourri #TheMoreYouKnow
