The cooking area was set off from the main living room, but no walls separated it from the rest of the glossy, #modern apartment. Floor-to-ceiling windows took up one entire wall, an uninterrupted line without curtains or shades, providing a beautiful view of the Jardins du Luxembourg. These windows continued on to form one wall of the kitchen, so that working there was like working suspended above the city. #QuotsyJune19

Haven't done #SignedSundays in a while so here's one. The only signed @LauraFlorand copy that I own is The Chocolate Touch. I love her books, both her Amour et Chocolat (hot guys who make chocolates and desserts, set in Paris) and La vie en Roses (hot cousins running a perfume business, set in Provence) series. Highly recommended for all #romantsy readers!

I mostly read romance on my Kindle but here are some physical copies of #kissingbooks for #riotgrams. Oh and I just realized these three novels are signed. The graphic novel in the background is Fresh Romance and those panels are from the Ruined short story.

News (both from the Philippines and internationally) has been stressing me out but we can always take refuge in books, right? It's #Recommendsday! One of my favorite romance series is Amour et Chocolat. Paris, chocolate and hot guys... what's not to like?😍🗼🍫 I only have a physical copy of The Chocolate Touch here with me but all the books in the series have been delightful.

Chachic @MariaC Same! I was glad the earlier books were already out and I had read them before going to Paris in 2014. They were good reading material in preparation for the trip.😁 have you read her Provence books? 7y
MariaC @Chachic I feel like I maybe read part of the first Provence book. I vaguely remember something about roses and perfume. I'll definitely have to take another look at it. 7y

Chachic @MariaC Yeah, the first book is about roses (Once Upon a Rose). There's a Christmas novella (A Rose in Winter) in an anthology called No Place Like Home that you might also want to check out. 😊

MeganB @Chachic I did! She was giving them away on Facebook for the release of a new Christmas anthology. I was so shocked when I won! But ugh her writing KILLS me it's so good ❤️💙 I reread The chocolate rose all the time and the new perfume series is utterly delightful 😍 7y
