This is book 2 in the series and shouldn‘t be read alone. Grace Draven has written an amazing fantasy romance. A force of demons has been released and is traveling from the royal palace and killing people as they go. To save the world the new king must become a wraith king and drive the demons back to their own world.

I appreciated Draven‘s world-building in this installment, though writing action scenes isn‘t her forte. I also enjoyed spending more time with these characters, though I don‘t feel the need to continue with the series. Maybe one day I‘ll come back to it and change my mind....

I enjoyed reading Radiance and I can‘t wait to start Eidolon! I hope the Queens gets her comeuppance...

This book doesn‘t have much action but the author creates a unique new species. I enjoyed the difference in not only kingdoms but also lifestyle and the clever banter. It‘s also a nice change to have the main characters like one another from the start. The epilogue sets up a great sequel.

So happy to discover this is #2 in an expected 6 book series....yay!!! This one was full of action and adventure while still retaining all of the warm feels of a wonderful romance (like its predecessor). Great cast of characters too! Can't wait for #3! #romantsy #osrbc

I enjoyed this book even more with the second read. My only sadness is that the third book in this trilogy doesn't come out until next year. Although I think the first book in this series is my favorite, this is also a great read.
