this book was a beautiful dive into the work put into one of David's most interesting album covers, alongside some amazing Tin Machine recollections (what initially made me want to read this). each page spread is nicely sectioned with a left-hand image and text on the right.
a nice insight into their relationship, and a wonderful explanation on how 'Tin Machine II's cover came to fruition.

a massive favourite for me, this book compelled me from the word go. it's story was only enhanced when i linked it towards the b-side tracks of David Bowie's 1974 album 'Diamond Dogs', enhancing my further re-reads of it.

Bookwomble Welcome to Litsy 😊 And a specially warm welcome to another Bowie fan 👨🏼‍🎤😄 2y

whilst the film initially made me quite hesitant to read the book, uncomfortable and graphic scenes felt more palatable in text than they did visually in Kubrick's adaptation. re-read as soon as i had completed it to try and grasp nadsat better, very interesting to see its links to Russian.

one of my all-time favourite books. after doing a bit more research into the book whilst preparing for a speech, my love only grew more.

a gorgeous book, complete with beautiful design from Julian House (cover designer of Recoil's 'Unsound Methods' in 1997) -- a compelling and enjoyable read, i finished this book enthusiastically in around 4- hours.
