o.m.g. I loved this book and I'm not a gamer or into science fiction really. but this book was fantastic. I told a colleague that I wanted to get to the end but I didn't want to finish it. highly recommend to anyone, especially if you like 80s references, virtual reality or gaming.

the 12 year old and I read for 30 mins a night. I just finished dumplin' and have this in my stack. saw many of ya out there reading this, too, so I'm getting to it next. Tonight the 12 year old is reading Neil Gaiman's the graveyard book graphic novel.

so very good! I may be biased being from Texas, but this story of an obese girl who may or may not be comfortable in her own skin definitely breaks stereotypes. hope the Disney movie that's been optioned for it doesn't ruin the story.
