Everyday Sexism | Laura Bates

"As girls grow up, these responses start to skew their own judgment of situations - they learn not to trust themselves and not to make a fuss. Society teaches them that they don't have the right to complain. One way or another, women are silenced." #everydaysexism #important

Happy Birthday, Harry!⚡️I might not have gone to a midnight release (I've actually never been to one 🙈), but of course I still had to snag a copy. #harrypotter #cursedchild

I started reading this months ago, when it first came out, & I just couldn't get into it. Honestly, I was almost disappointed as the original Mediator series is one of my favorites. But I spent all day by the pool, right where I left off, & the story seriously picked up. I can't say it's my favorite of the series, but the story is pretty fantastic. If you read this, make sure to get past the first 100 or so pages before passing judgment😊👍🏻

FINALLY got my hands on Sex Criminals Volume 3 🙌🏻 I feel like the release date kept getting pushed back (yes, I know I could have bought the individual comics while waiting 🙈). Time to pour a glass of wine & devour this one. Because who doesn't love a couple who has sex, stops time & robs banks?

Book club meeting & National Wine Day. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting down with the ladies tonight to discuss this book & how we feel like our experiences paralleled or juxtaposed the anecdotes. Even as late twenty-something ladies, we all still walked away with new insight & lessons learned.
