I read The 5 people you meet in Heaven a few years ago and absolutely loved it, as did Tom, so he got us a few more books by this author. This was a good read and had a nice plot, but it felt really similar to the last story, so I guess I wasn‘t as ‘wow‘ed by it this time. I would still recommend for a quick, nice lil read

I‘ve been slow going on the reading this month but with some time off from work I was able to get into this book. I thought it was a bit slow to the start, but by the end I really enjoyed it. I love books with short chapters and from multiple perspectives. And who doesn‘t love a good love story 💗

Oh man am I back on the Twilight train this year, haha. I saw this at Target and obviously had to buy! Honestly didn‘t even know it was a thing, but I am so glad it is! I loved this spin on the whole series and kinda wish we could get all of Bella & Edward‘s story played out like this... 🙂

Tom read this book too so he gets to be in the photo. We both really enjoyed A Man Called Ove, so we tried this book too. It‘s a cute, light hearted story. I recommend for an easy and fun read!

rwmg Did you realise this is a spin-off from 3y

Man, what a good, heavy book. I was so wrapped up in Isabel & Tom‘s world that I was legitimately sad for the next 24 hours after I finished the book. I still can‘t decide who my loyalty lied with, but I‘m happy with how the book ended. ❤️❤️ thanks for the read, @shanaymayer

Sing You Home: A Novel | Jodi Picoult

Wowowow. This book is SO good. I am LOVING Jodi Picoult this year (late to the game I know). She writes about such socially relevant, thought provoking topics but still in a fiction manner and I am obsessed. Literally all I could think about when I wasn‘t reading was what was going to happen next. Highly recommend :)

I had a different book by this author on my “to read” list, but snagged this one at HPB for $2. It was a decent story but in my opinion way too drawn out and the killer was very anticlimactic to me. Once I got into the back half of the book I enjoyed it more, but still just pretty meh.

My Mamaw loves Danielle Steel & has read all her books, so I have told myself I want to try to as well. They are all quick and easy reads with pretty simple plot lines, but it‘s always an enjoyable read, and I like the connection it gives me to Mamaw. 🥰

Been wanting to read this for a while in honor of our Ender 💙💙. It‘s definitely not my typical go-to book, but I enjoyed reading it. I thought the ending once Mazer is revealed it really came alive. Biggest takeaways:
1. I want to watch the movie
2. I kept calling the buggers ‘boogers‘ in my mind lol
3. It‘s baffling that these were BABIES!? Kids! At 6 years old!!

shanaymayer Just now seeing this!!! Love that you read it. I want to reread in honor of our Ender, too. ❤️ 3y

My first post!Woo hoo! I have to say, I was SO excited to get this book. The thought of being taken back to the middle school days of the Twilight saga was so exciting, this was the first book I have ever pre-ordered. Haha :) Twilight was my least favorite book of the original saga from Bella‘a perspective, and I didn‘t enjoy it much more from Edwards‘. Being a mind reader, he kind of rambles on in circles, but I enjoyed the history of his family.
