It is a great book that focuses primarily on the Holocaust in Eastern Europe. Provides a history so profound and is written so differently from what I am used to. It also speaks about how Communist played a major role in aiding the Germans in helping them achieve their final solution.

I found this book to be amazing. A must read. While it is a little old Krakauer does an amazing job of telling the stories from the victims. Truly a great book and a must read at such times

I recently finished the book and found it to be very cliche. The book talked about personal legends a lot and how everyone has a path in life. At the end though the man found a material wealth. He was able to talk to the sun but yet got his treasure from gold.

TheBookAddict I had heard many great things about it, but so far I can‘t get behind it. We‘ll see when I finish reading/listening to it. 7y
