A fun read, but without the angst or emotional depth or the other two in the series.
This is a friends to lovers romance. Not the best of the three but still a satisfying read.

Another angsty read from Natasha Anders and my favorite of the three. This one is on the keeper shelf.
The heroine meets the hero when she serves his table at a restaurant. He can't stay away and eventually they marry. Fast forward two years, she's pregnant. When she tells him, the hero diesnt respond as she hoped. He tells her to leave, she does, he gives chase and is involved in a car accident that leaves him severely hearing impaired.
Lovely, antsy romance. A heroine who is in love with the hero and the hero is attracted to her. However, he believes she was part of the blackmail scheme which instigated the marriage. Then he finds out she wasn't and groveling happens.
It was an emotional but satisfying read.
Review from my Harlequin Binge-
The heroine (Tellie) in this book is more doormat-ish than any other Diana Palmer heroine I've ever read. The hero (JB) one of the worst alph-holes.
There was no groveling. There should have been groveling. Lots and Lots of groveling.
The follow-up novella to Heavy Issues. The road to HEA encounters a few bumps, and a few issues from the novel are resolved.
A fun way to revisit these characters.
Heroine with an eating disorder. Hero with control issues and a heart he has hidden away.
It was love at first sight with a healthy dose of denial. It's a fun, sexy read.
2nd in a trilogy. Works as a standalone.
This has been sitting on my shelf for years. Today it was re-homed.
Live long, and entertain.
This is one for the keeper shelf.
A fun, sexy, funny contemporary romance.
All of the sin, none of the guilt.
An ancient Greek hero cursed into a book and forced to be a love slave throughout eternity. Until love conquers all.
Nicely sets up the Dark Hunter series.
Read it. It's worth it.
A fun erotic-romance read.
She's looking for mind -blowing orgasms; he wants to provide them.
They both have issues they need to work out to make it to the HEA. And they eventually get there. But not without some conflict.
It was a fun read.
I didn't read the book. I was only mildly amused by the movie. But how could I resist this?
All of the characters in this book are in serious need of therapy, even the therapist.
It was just ok.
Take a leisurely stroll from Gunter's to White's, and let this themed guidebook provide the commentary. It features 9 walking tours of London and provides just enough history and literature to satisfy.
I love this book and look forward to putting it to use again.
I read this the first time in the late 80s, and wanted to read something old school. I chose this particular book after some lengthy periods of scrolling on my bookstore app.
I was surprised to see that the story stood the test of time. I think mostly because the plot wasn't overly complicated. The h was a little naive, pretty typical of heroines of the time. The H is a silent, brooding alpha type with his own backstory.
Worth a shot.
A little communication would have gone a long way. Not the best by Penny Jordan, but still a quick read for a snowy afternoon.
Classic Betty Neels.
British nurse, and self-described Plain Jane, falls in love with a handsome Dutch physician.
Miunderstandings ensue. A quick HEA that explains away the drama caused by secondary characters.
I wonder how many handsome doctors there are in the Netherlands. Hundreds if Betty Neels is the gauge.
It's a fun read.
The Harlequin Kiss line is advertised as fun and flirty. This book wasn't fun or flirty.
It was enjoyable, but not what I expected. The heroine was strong and patient. The hero afraid to express his emotions and commit because of childhood trauma.
This book is more 50 Shades than 50 First Dates.
Just finished this book.
While it is full of Milly Taiden's quirky humor, this book is not as fun to read as some of her others. If the 'Drachen Mates' series is meant to be a trilogy, this book makes sense. It reads like the second book in a trilogy.
I didn't read it; I watched it. Just. . .Richard Armitage.
That is all.
When you just can't pick a genre.

Just added this to the TBR pile on KU.
Starting it tonight.
Noah Harper is an amazing book boyfriend. Grace is a perfect foil for him.
This book is sweet, sexy, and funny.
A worthwhile way to spend a snowy afternoon.
A book where opposites don't attract. Until they do.
The H/h meet on a music fan listserv. Online flirtation becomes a promise to meet and they discover that they know and dislike each other, until they don't. High-jinks ensue. And a really sweet HEA.
I enjoyed this one. It made me laugh.
A Classic.
I've read both the original (published in 1985) and the updated versions. Even though the original has controversy attached, and I will never condone rape or rape culture, I prefer the original version. It was a story of its time and straight-forward. The updated version tried to sanitize the story. That just feels dishonest.
Read it, see for yourself.
This anthology contains a follow-up novella to #DreamingOfYou which features Lydia Craven (Derek and Sara's daughter).
I'm looking forward to reading this!
Derek Craven. That's all you need to know.
Read this now.
A lovely, sad romance. The H and h, living on different timelines, come together over the course of a lifetime.
Forget the movie, read the book. Have tissues ready.
I've read the sample, definitely on the TBR pile.
Originally published in 1988, only slightly dated, no HQ crazysauce.
I'm a fan of Penny Jordan; she's a solid, dependable HQ writer. 'Levelling The Score' is no exception.
Trope: Heroine is in love with best friend's brother (Hero). She think he doesn't love her, but he does.
predictable, comfort read.
Old favorite. Comfort read. Highly Recommended.
Dashing hero, heroine in disguise. Renaissance France.
Fun read. Plus-sized heroine, commitment-shy hero. High-jinks ensue. Love conquers all. Book 1 of a new series. Looking forward to the next
Pygmalion.
Likeable heroine. Less likeable hero.
2nd chance love story.
I love Pride and Prejudice, and re-read it annually. So, Lady Bridget's Diary should have been a winner. It's P&P, with significant influence from the Bridget Jones' Diary version, and a heavy dose of 'Mean Girls'.
The book is enjoyable, but forgettable. I was left feeling - been here, read that, and it's been done better.
It's derivative. The original content is great, but there isn't enough of it.
I wanted to love this book. I really did.
