Wow! I‘m still trying to catch my breath after going on the journey this book took me on! From the intriguing first chapter you are sucked in to a whirlwind of magic, fantasy, and action! I couldn‘t put it down and finished it over two evenings. For those of you who go a bit crazy with sexual tension this book will have you reeling but don‘t worry the big finish is worth it! I really enjoyed it!

This book blew my mind! I wasn‘t overly interested when I picked it up but it I was captured instantly. The story is beautifully crafted with many twists and turns, not to mention the vibrant world the story is set in. It‘s one of those books where the story paints a picture in your mind and you can fall easily into the fantasy. The story is very inclusive and LGBTQ open which is nice to see. A great read for both women and men!

While I enjoyed this beautiful story there was this desire for more that just never totally felt fulfilled. The characters are rich and have a lot of depth, I wish perhaps it was a little less PG and a bit more 18+ of you know what I mean. The romances tease the senses and leave many questions. That‘s said it‘s a lovely story and if there is a sequel I will read it for sure.

This beautifully crafted story absolutely captured me from page one. From enchanted forests filled with monsters and mystery to forbidden love I couldn‘t put this book down. I absolutely fell in love with the characters (even the villains), especially Gáspár and Evike, the sexual tension between the two will drive you crazy…. But I promise it‘s worth it ?

I was so excited to hear this book has a sequel because when I put it down I wanted more! Plenty of action wrapped in a bow of romance and betrayal The Unbroken surprised me. If I‘m honest I wasn‘t overly excited to read this book but was sucked in immediately and finished it in two days. Great read! I can‘t wait to see what‘s to come with these characters!

I LOVED this read! The authors have a lighthearted and funny approach to living life more simply. Some of the ideas might be a bit much for most but the majority of the book has more practical ideas for the beginner. I loved how they educated while entertaining and educating! Great book to read if you‘re looking to save money, live more simply, and more meaningfully.

I couldn‘t resist the cover of this book when I saw it on display at the library. It‘s meant to be a read more for pre-teens and teens but I still enjoyed it. It‘s mysterious and smartly written with many twists and turns that will keep your pulse racing. I read it in one day and my 12 year old daughter took a week but we both loved it. The author touches on some hard subjects, life, death, choices, and consequences in a thoughtful manner.

This beautifully written work flavoured with both fact and fiction follows the life of Esme the young daughter of one of the important men working on the Oxford English Dictionary. After the printing of the first A and B edition of the dictionary it is discovered that the word ‘Bondmaiden‘ had some how been omitted. The story explores the missing word and the male influence on the dictionaries first printing while painted into the story of Esme.

I adored this book and can‘t wait to read the sequel! The story swept me away to a time long ago where magic was still found in the forests of Russia.

* A little tip that will make the visual in your head even better I suggest to look up a ‘Russian Stove‘, there are reference to sleeping on the stove and I was like 🤔 Now that I know what it is I want one!!

Written by a Turkish opposition leader from his jail cell where he‘s been since 2016, Dawn, is a collection of short stories that truly capture life in the Middle East. I wept more then once reading this but with that I also smiled warmly. Well written and capturing.
