Damon likes Natalie. Natalie likes Damon. Natalie has a secret. Darkness falls.

I really enjoyed this novella. Great characters. Slow burn but intense.

For fans of The Mist!

I LOVED this book!!!!! A gothic novel in a seaside town set in the early 1900‘s. That hooked me instantly. Grace has moved back to her families abandoned home in Wales following the death of her mother and inheriting the property seeking a fresh start. But had Grace also inherited her mothers madness? Out July 11th.

This is my third S.A. Cosby read and I really enjoyed it. He‘s mastered the crime novel and I can‘t get enough. Cut throat and brutal at times but with so much heart. You can‘t turn the pages fast enough.

I. Loved. This.

Such a haunting and dark story. The multiple POV‘s were well done and I never lost interest. V. Castro is becoming a favorite.

This poetry collection by Donna Lynch was unbelievable. I listened to the audiobook which the author herself narrates and enjoyed it SO much. These were all eerie poems that left me wishing they were short stories. I wanted more! Highly recommend!

Out tomorrow!!! This was such a wild ride of a book. I feel like I say that about books all the time but this one truly is. You just have to see for yourself. Dark and twisted.

Loved this!

Middle aged woman going though menopause as a main character isn‘t something we see enough of and I thought Nat did a fantastic job bringing it to the page. Also a serial killer connection!

A wonderful collection of Viking themed poetry. This was something new for me as I‘ve never read much poetry. I was a fan of the tv series Vikings so I really enjoyed this. The poems are brutal and cut throat and emotional. #horror #poetry #horrorpoetry

A woman and her children are dealing with the death of George, her husband and childrens father and meet a man and his son who are hunting creatures in the dead of Texas. Their paths are connected. I really enjoyed this one from start to finish. An epic horror western. Great story and characters you‘ll love and think about until after you‘ve turned the very last page.

This is part one of three in a series.

This one is epic. I was hooked from the first chapter and it was balls to the wall the entire time. By the end you feel like you‘ve been through it with the characters and your heart will be ripped out. Fracassi nailed it.

Ghost Eaters: A Novel | Clay McLeod Chapman

This story was INSANE! I loved it from start to finish. It was a gross and terrifying wild ride. I really could not predict how it was going to end and was very pleased with where it went.

I kept asking myself if I would want to take the pill and see a loved one again and after reading this, I think I‘ve settled on NO. Not if the consequences are anything like what happens in this book!

Tragic. Raw. Gripping. Emotional.

What makes this book so terrifying is that the events that unfold could really happen. John Lynch has written a powerful story here. Read this!!!! #horror #johnlynch #thewarriorretreat #millitarysplatteterpunk #splatterpunk #slasher #bookreview #bookrecommendation

Stephen Graham Jones has done it again.

Just when I thought I couldn‘t love Jade Daniels more…

This is book 2 of the Indian Lake trilogy and it takes place a few years after the Independence Day Massacre. We meet a very different “Jade” aka Jennifer and see what she‘s been dealing with since the aftermath of book one.

Long live the slasher. Long live Jade Fucking Daniels.

“Some wounds don‘t heal…”

New book from a new author! The Warrior Retreat. John is a veteran and writes horror. I saw him on the Dead Headspace podcast and had to have it. He considers this to be military splatterpunk. I can‘t wait to start it.

Owen King‘s new book The Curator comes out Tuesday and you should add it to your TBR right now. I loved it so much. If you love cats, you will too. The world he created in this story is so much fun, you won‘t want to leave it.
