Book club got me reading some things ... I know her writing style is well liked but it‘s not for me and I‘m struggling 😭 Audio book on point, though

It‘s #NaNoWrimoPrep so I‘m immersing myself in some Greek mythology to do a bit of background research for my book. Listening to the audiobook on this one, which has been great

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The beginning was a bit slow and hard to get into but the beautiful writing carried me through to the second half that was fantastic. This book obviously focused on the main characters relationship and that bloomed beautifully, if a little rushed, but I do wish it would‘ve had a bit more backstory on the time war. Still, the writing is as beautiful as Blue and Red‘s love story.

My pick for our remote book club. Really good so far! Love the writing style. I worried it‘d be a bit info dumpy as some time travel books are, but it‘s unfolding very naturally.
