panDisjointed and all over the place, a plethora of secondary characters that may or may not have importance. Very disappointing
I usually read 2 books simultaneously, one while I work out at the gym, another I read in my spare moments at home. This one is my Gym book
so-soIt's sweet and can be considered "clean" drags a bit in the beginning, it does have an amazing secondary character " Aunt Midge" her meddling really helps the book advance, I would recommend it for a commute or rainy day.

So no.... I have never felt or imagined Voldemort as a sexual being (shivers in disgust), I know, I know, everybody has a heart and nether regions...

This has been in my to read book list for years, I even thought I had read it, but no. It was a surprise meeting the leads, knowing they are not young adults and the life that they have made for each other is an accepted one. I adored both begrudgingly gave their love a chance.
pickAmazingly funny I love how families and friendships are portrayed in very rich modern Asia, had so many laugh out loud moments and Having Charlie Wu as BFF is a relationship goal

pickI really like the world building and lore in this series, valkyries, vampires, shape shifters, demons and fey. The leads are strong, sexy and very lonely. Will be purchasing more books from this series.
pickLoved it, I really like seeing where Eve and Roarke are at their marriage. In this book we get to see how crime doesn't care if it's Christmas, the crime was ruthless and violent and I like how all of Eve's team work with her. Ms Robb was flawless regarding consent and sexual violence against women and the men that abuse trust.
