This is the paragraph that grabbed me! If you are a fan of CeeCee (Saving CeeCee Honeycutt) or Starla ( Whistling Past The Graveyard) I highly recommend this one!

This was an interesting story and an interesting victim who waited over 20 years for her rapist to be caught. (Not too triggery) I don't want to tell you her story because her telling her own story is so much of this book, I would recommend this book.

Even though I already read an ARC of this I wanted to listen to audio because Julia Whelan narrates it.

I really enjoyed this one, it kept me guessing, were these women mentally ill, magical, cursed? What is going on?? I recommend this one!

Reading the background of the songs and story and seeing these pictures is making me want to see this even more!

Sydsavvy Such an amazing book! 8y
MissSusie66 Isn't it! The whole process was fascinating and the pure joy and movement of the pictures was as close to actually seeing the show as I will get! 8y

LitHousewife I've never read any of his books. I've donated the unsolicited review copier to my library. Am I crazy? 8y
MissSusie66 Yes 😀 his books are great! 8y
Dogearedcopy I tried to listen to 'The Woods' (read by Scott Brick) many years ago; but wasn't crazy about the narration or production values; so I read the print and found the novel only so-so, and frankly not very memorable. Should I try Coben again? 8y
Dogearedcopy again? 8y
MissSusie66 @LitHousewife I haven't read his Bolitar Series but his stand alones are great. I haven't been disappointed yet! 8y
MissSusie66 @Dogearedcopy That was probably the only one that was so so but Missing You, Stay Close , Six Years and this one are really good mysteries. 8y
jennifersmeth @LitHousewife Julie loves all of his books -- series and stand alones. 8y
MissSusie66 Oh and The Stranger narrated by George Newbern was really good too. 8y
MissSusie66 I plan on trying the series one of these days but I'm at the point I hate to start Another series. 8y
LitHousewife I'll definitely give his stand alones a try. My review copies were the series that @Dogearedcopy mentioned, so I don't feel so bad. 8y
Dogearedcopy I put "Coben Stand-Alones" on my radar then :-) 8y

Listening to this one for the Armchair Audies, I'm about 40% done and still not sure what I think. This book has gotten a lot of buzz but... Narration is good though.

LitHousewife I will wait until your final verdict before I pick this one up. 8y
MissSusie66 It's 2 suicidal teens who fall "in love" ,it's a sappy "love" story about suicide and mental illness maybe I don't get it but this is close to being a DNF. 8y
MissSusie66 This book won the Goodreads Choice awards and there are a lot of OMG reviews, so it may just be me but I honestly can't see myself recommending this book to anyone, especially a teen. 8y
xerinxlynnx I was not a fan of this one. 8y
MissSusie66 Good to know I'm not the only one xerinxlynnx 8y
