This was definitely an interesting book and start to a series. I really enjoyed the characters who were introduced. There was a lot of information in this book to learn the rules of the world, so I‘m interested to see what‘s the following books will be like in terms of character development and depth.

This book really surprised me. It took me awhile to connect to the main character, I think mainly because I did not agree with her decision in the beginning (don‘t want to spoil anything so will not elaborate). Many touching and poignant moments in this story and a refreshing take on anxiety and grief.

While I generally like to read from one point of view I don‘t think that would‘ve worked for this story. I feel like I should also mention that there are triggers in this book, especially in regards to rape and abuse. I appreciate that it does not go into very graphic detail in those parts, but at the same time there was a lot of it throughout the story because it was a part of everyone‘s story.

It was an easy read but I feel like I didn‘t really connect to the characters. Compared to her other books there wasn‘t as much world building or character development.

Because it is obviously needed. I‘ve been following Clean Mama online and just need to buckle down on a routine and find something that works. Lots of great tips, lists and some recipes. Really want to get her next book “Guide to a Healthy Home” eventually.

Like this! Excited to see more relationship development with Death. And to see where some of the revelations lead to in the upcoming books. Pretty quick read.

Third times the charm. I‘ve started this book a few times and for some reason never got past the first few pages. This time I was able to finish it in a couple of days. Interested in further relationship building especially with all of the politics.

It took me forever to finish the last book. No spoilers but it did not compare to the first books.

“Once again, I was struck by how tiny she was. Unlike me, however, hers was a terrifying form of tiny: the tiny of poisonous spiders, plastic explosives, or the Olsen twins.”

I wasn‘t sure how I would like it at first, and to be honest still struggling with some relationship choices, but looking forward to what happens in the future. Enjoying her dialogue with herself.

Quick read but excited to see what is going to happen next. I remember trying to read this before and couldn‘t get into it so I‘m glad I gave it a second chance.

Forever Evermore series supposed to be around 10 books total. I‘ve read 1-3 and #5. I feel like sometimes there is a lot of depth or plot that could be explored and instead is just kind of added in (ex. time with uncle added last minute, though there was a bit of expansion later it want much). And I feel like the first 3 books could have been expanded but I really like Caro so who knows.

I read this book before and I had the scene where she trespassed and then hit him in the head with the back of the toilet lid stuck in my head and couldn‘t remember what but it came from. I was lucky to run into it again. I find it a fun fast read.

Enjoyed the tone and speed of the book. Great detail and depth in the culture and history of the country. Read the first two books and can't for the third to see how it ends.

I liked the first book for Yelena and again for Opal but found that as they continue it feels repetitive and I am just reading to figure out how it ends not to enjoy the whole journey. Currently on book 5 but not sure I'm going to finish them all.

Had trouble getting fully into it at first. Found it more engaging in the second novel.
