I thought this was a new way to revisit an old classic.

This was a fun little book of comics devoted to reading and the love of books. Great read for a bitter cold day.

Of course I loved the Harry Potter books, but I hadn't planned on buying the illustrated versions. My sister gave it to me for Christmas and I loved it. I wasn't going to read right away but sat down looking at pictures and I ended up reading the whole thing. There are so many illustrations and they are so good. I'm sure I'll have to add the other books now when available.

ReadingSusan They are so gorgeous. I ❤️ them so much. But I definitely wouldn't have bought them for myself either! 7y

Almost done with this book of essays from a diverse cast of politicians, activists, and writers. I've found it to be both informative and hopeful. Also I loved the quote on the back cover!

Great read! So interesting. Each chapter is about a different dig or a different aspect of archeology. I heard the author give a talk about the work being done to study the Jamestown colony and she did such a good job I picked up her book. So glad I did!

Really enjoyed! Haven't read anything by this author before and I will read more in the series. I thought the plot maybe wandered a bit in the middle but finished strong at the end. Interested in reading her books set in World War I.

KCofKaysville It's the only Perry I've read but I liked it. 3y

Finished the audio version while watching gates at the ranch on a beautiful summer day. Great narration, good story.

Great book! Read in one lazy Saturday afternoon. Couldn't stop. And it had a soundtrack, 70's classic rock.

Great book! Not what I expected at all. At least half the book discussed the terrorist occupation of parts of Mali. I hadn't read a lot about Al Quaida and had I known so much of the book would be about that, I would have been reluctant to read. But I found it really interesting!

I loved this book. I bought it on a whim, mainly because I thought the cover was pretty. It moved to the top of my TBR because it was thin. I'm so glad. The writing is just beautiful, even poetic at times. Words I never thought I would say about the theory of relativity or physics.

This one is tough for me. I loved parts of this book. The writing is stellar, and the story is engrossing at times. But something was missing for me. I think I just had a hard time believing the two leads were really in love, so the ending fell flat for me.

Story was a little tough to follow at first but once the pieces started fitting together I became engrossed. I loved how science and legend blended within the story. And loved the art. There were some amazing panels I really loved.
