Really enjoyed this book and can‘t wait for the next in the series! Beautifully written, fast paced plot, and in depth characters.

I did struggle with frustration at several of the characters and there choices. Even though it was described and explained, i still struggled to understand their reasoning behind the choices they made.

I finished this book simply out of pure stubbornness... The beautiful cover and the description drew me in but failed to live up to the story inside. The entire time I was reading, I had no idea what was going on. While this was the first book in the series, I felt like I had jumped into the middle of the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! There were many segments that i felt were drawn out but overall there were many twists and turns and an ending that truly wrecked me! She took a direction on many of the plots that I never expected. Already have the next book and can‘t wait to read it!

I have read this book several times and loved it just as much this time as the first! The world that Cashore creates is dynamic and alluring. I love the character development and the plots that exist within this book. This book, to me, has the perfect balance of adventure, romance, and intrigue. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for this perfect blend!

I enjoyed this book. However the plot is a bit predictable and the writing is rudimentary. However, I enjoyed the story and have ordered the next book in the series. It could easily be a stand alone book if one did not wish to continue the series. I however want to see what the author intends for her characters. Overall good book.

Absolutely loved this book! Couldn‘t put it down! I personally am a huge Brandon Sanderson fan anyhow but this book was a new and fresh concept compared to his normal writings. It had me on the edge of my seat multiple times, laughing at others, and even crying at one point! Wonderfully written and so engaging!

This was a good dystopian book. The concept drew me in but the plot stalled near the middle and the ending was a little predictable. However characters were easy to fall in love with and as a plus the movie follows the book rather closely!
