My #bookspin book for March - I'm happy that this got picked, it's a really fun read, I enjoyed every second of it. While it has less "action" than the first two Discworld books Terry Pratchett's fun style still makes it worth the read.

At first I wasn't sure how I feel about the book - there are some changes to the beloved story about Peter Pan and at first that didn't sit right with me (and, to be honest, I still don't agree with them). But I wasn't able to put the book down and while I may have an issue with it here or there it still means I was drawn in and entertained and that's what reading is all about.

Being a big lover of "monster classics" I had to read the first vampire novella - and be disappointed. Due to the length I knew it wasn't going to play in the same league as Frankenstein or Dracula and it was nice to see where later authors may have gotten some ideas from but that's about it. To me it felt a bit all over the place, what would have been interesting to explore was dropped after a sentence or two.

These editions are so beautiful. Can't wait to start A Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Nothing makes me happier than getting cozy under a blanket and reading a good book while having a nice cup of tea.

I found this to be a slow read, I am sure a bunch of parts could have been shortened without cutting anything out of the plot but it was still nice to get a glimpse into the story behind the lore rich games I grew up with. I don't think I would recommend it to someone who is simply looking for new fantasy books to read but if you want to know more about the Warcraft lore go for it.

If you're looking for a book on bullet journaling - this is not it. Bullet journaling in its basic form as described in the book is no new concept and yet the book makes it sound like it is a groundbreaking method Ryder Carroll himself invented. To me the book felt like a mixture of 75% unrelated stories, 15% generic self help ideas you nowadays find on every website and 10% VERY basic journaling stuff and nothing new (like how to make a list...)
