An honest look at several cases that profiles were called in on. The author humanizes both the victim and the perpetrator in. Very real way.

Every chapter starts with quotes from Susan or her father in laws diary usually. It shows an in-depth look at how generational trauma and dysfunction lead to two beautiful boys and their moms life cut short. How the police ignored the families warnings is crushing .

Sometimes things don‘t work out how you want. Sometimes you don‘t get the second chance. One of the most solid real stories that leave you questioning

Paper Towns | Bestsellers - Books USA Press

One of the best books in the idea of falling in love with an idea more than a person. It‘s a whole story where the events are much more important than the destination.

—- graphic book about child abuse—-
As a survivor of intense child abuse, this book was hard and comforting to go through. The horrors these kids faced and that not all of them got out Alive is heart breaking. The long list of chances people had to intervene and didn‘t is absolutely heart breaking. For those who survived it leaves a powerful memory

I have never had a book understand and grasp onto how your life changes and the holes people leave. The very structure of the book shows into the pain lost after tragedy and how some things will never be the same

Batman‘s intro to red hood is an amazing comic, that brought a wonderful character out in Jason Todd. This is the one that started it all in the new era and it is a great kick off

The way the family drama is handled so well. Grief and loss looked at honestly and bluntly.

My all time favorite book by far. The twists at the end will take your breath away. A flawed and sometimes unreliable narrator being forced to confront her past is an amazing read

Another great crime book. This author holds no punches when calling out police mistakes or misguidance and focus on the facts of this case more than the victims or drama of it. Absolutely love it

5feet.of.fury Seriously! It killed me when they said “if they had just watched further on the surveillance tape” …so many minor mishaps that could have had her found. 3d
DeadBy420 Honestly!!! Or how they didn‘t believe the boyfriend till Keyes backed it. I just wonder if dad and boyfriend ever got an apology… 3d

I absolutely loved this book! The cases they chose were obscure so it made it really interesting to see them relate it to the more famous cases. 10/10
