Confession: I'm actually listening to this book on audio because my hardback is personalized and signed, and I'm afraid to mess it up. I do enjoy looking at that pretty cover while I'm listening, though.

Happiness is when you receive a full set of matching Harry Potter books AND two Funko Pops in the mail, all in one day.

Oh, how I love this book, and the audio version is performed SO well! It's suspenseful, swoony, heart-warming, and SO emotional -- all the best feels packed into one book! I listened to most of it in a single afternoon while the rest of my family was out of the house, because I simply could not stop. I *had* to know if I'd figured out the mystery. HIGHLY recommended!

My 6yo loves this book so much that she asked me to take a pic of her reading it. It addresses standing up for oneself, overcoming jealousy & learning to forgive -- all in an entertaining, fun way that is sure to hook many early elementary kids. Recommended, especially for girls who fear that having a backbone means they're -- gasp -- bossy.

See an outtake for this book shoot on my Twitter, @caryncaldwell. It's my daughter's idea of book styling.

This is such a fun book for kids who are nervous about starting school. (Plus it pairs well with colorful school supplies.)

My daughter and I are reading -- and loving! -- this book. It's tiny but mighty -- just like its heroine.

Sometimes all it takes is a beautiful first page, and you become certain that you will thoroughly adore the magical new book you hold in your hands. I can't wait to read on.

I've been enjoying both nonfiction and mindfulness lately, so THE JOY OF HALF A COOKIE -- a guide to mindful eating -- seemed a perfect splurge during my most recent bookstore haul. I'm only 49 pages in, but am finding it very interesting so far.

A few chapters into this one and loving it. The beginning is intense, and the plot is already developing in fun ways. I really like the two main characters' different personalities, too.
