I'm not sure how I feel about this book. The story is about a woman who has a baby in a time when London is flooding and people are having to evacuate.

It's written almost like a poem, which I kind of loved because it was so pretty, but also kind of hated because I didn't feel like I was finding anything out...

I read this book in one weekend because it was so good.

It's very graphic and violent but really makes you think.

I took me a little while to get into this book but when I did I loved it. I found the main character (Isabel) quite hard to like but I loved her husband Tom.

It also made me really want to live on a lighthouse island!

By the time I was halfway through I was desperate to find out the ending ❤️

There were bits where I was totally hooked but I found the chapters written through Finn's perspective quite hard to follow 👀the twists were not at all what I expected 😊
