My fiancée and I are going on our honeymoon to Montana in 3 short weeks and I want a good recommendation for Montana-themed books. I like true stories, adventure, mysteries and anything that is a serious page-turner. If it‘s slow, I‘ll put it down and not pick it back up, let‘s be honest.

And on my drives to and from the trailhead, I finally finished this book on Audible. I don‘t usually like books with a fantasy/supernatural component but I loved this one. I feel like it would make an amazing movie.
I spent three days alone in the woods reading, drinking wine and exploring nearby peaks and mountains. This book was fantastic, moving, heartfelt and a page-turner. Highly recommend if you have any interest in the outdoors or mountain climbing.
I‘m heading out to the wilderness for four days alone for a solo backpacking trip and I download “The Sun is a Compass” for my Kindle. Looking foreword to hammock evenings with a good book and reconnecting with nature.

What new books are you looking forward to for this summer? Elizabeth Gilbert is one of my favorite authors and I can‘t wait to check out this period novel.
Okay help. I really want to love this book. I‘m all about creepy, dystopian, destroy the patriarchy books. But I just find this boring so far. I‘m almost halfway through and I feel like it‘s all world-building and no plot/story line. It‘s well written but I never find myself wondering what‘s going to happen. Does it get better?

pickHonest and brutal, this book feels like listening to someone‘s therapy session as a fly on the wall. I enjoyed the voyeuristic feel of looking into someone‘s life and experiences of abuse, neglect and mental illness.
