Drunk on Love | Jasmine Guillory

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had to come back to this one after reading Guillory‘s newest since the main characters there were side characters here :)
I enjoyed this one more on the reread than I originally did when I read it 3 years ago, and I‘ve just really liked being back in her words again.

I don‘t know why I have such a hard time with most of her books. This one took me a while to get through and I can‘t say exactly why!

Jasmine Guillory writes such solid books. Margot and Luke's familial relationships were just as developed as their romantic one, and I loved the setting! What a good escape from dreary fall weather. #contemporaryromance

Quick, easy read…I like JG‘s books. The relationship between Luke and Margot starts hot and heavy only to be put on hold when he finds out she is his new boss.

Jensol77 This was a cute read. I liked the characters and the modern setting. Good Audio 2y

This may be my favorite of Guillory‘s romances: the leads were likable and mostly made reasonable choices, the conflict was believable (mostly), and the resolution felt real. The cameo of friends from previous books was nice but not enough! I expect to see the brother‘s story sometime, too.
