@Bostonmomx2 I'm throwing in the towel. I tried to convince myself that it wasn't so bad but I really didn't care about anything the author had to say. I'm moving on to Grit by Angela Duckworth.
Side note: this book isn't even good enough to help me with #NovemberByTheNumbers post because there is no chapter #twentynine#29

Bostonmomx2 Ugh. What a drag. Thanks for the update 😊😊 6y
Linear I told you my version of the opposite would have been way better LOL 6y

SilversReviews Thanks for letting us know. I don‘t finish books I don‘t enjoy any more. I used to trudge through them but realized it is not worth it. 6y
EchoLogical @SilversReviews I'm slowly breaking the habit of reading books I don't enjoy. It's hard because I feel the need to follow through and find something redeeming about it and usually don't 😅 6y
SilversReviews @EchoLogical it is hard but necessary. 😎 6y

EvieBee So cute! I went to check out this series and it turns out I own them ALL on Kindle and haven‘t read them. Oi. (edited) 6y
Christinak @EvieBee that is hilarious! #booknerdproblems I got a copy of this and took it on a trip as a back up book - I ended up sharing it with a friend and it has now been passed around - everyone has loved it! 6y
EvieBee Now that is good karma! I‘m in a slumpish mood and this seems like just the right kind of book to sort me out. 6y

AlaMich Ha! I used to teach English as a Second Language. That brings back some memories (except we don't really use "shall" in American English). 6y
julesG @AlaMich British English does. A lot of the ESL teaching books insist on covering it - personally I think you cannot really use it below B2 level (European Framework), but it appears in Beginners books already. Anyway, I'm glad I'm no longer teaching Beginner's ESL. 😉 Have moved on to English for Specific Purposes, still ESL, but centred on certain fields - sciences and technology in my case. 6y
EvieBee I‘m just starting my teaching journey! 6y
