The sequel to Trainspotting.
The book describes the characters ten years after the events of the earlier book, as their paths cross again, this time with the pornography business as the backdrop rather than heroin use.
With the movie they changed that plot, I liked it BUT it lacked the humour which made the first one so charming and hilarious. 😏
so-soWhile I'm recovering from a flare up of my illness, i thought I'd pick up the next instalment of the #Trainspotting series. I'm Scottish myself, so reading this in east and west coast of Scotland accents. #lol It's always good to hear what the lads from Leith have been up to since the last book, but I'm hoping that after 20 odd years or so, we can lay the boys down and say bye... I reckon it's time #radge
Trainspotting was a brilliant film from the nineties that is one which helped turn me into such a movie addict. 21 years later, the sequel doesn't disappoint in the slightest.
Now maybe it's time to actually read the novels that they were based on 🤔

I think my first mission as BookFairie was rather successful! I planted my books in front on the Kölner Dom - one of Germany's biggest cathedrals (quite blasphemous, I know!) The rush's still there, I think might be hooked! And apparently the good people of @ bookfairiesworldwide like it, too!

Just went to see a double feature: Trainspotting and T2, and i do have to confess that i maybe had too high hopes, but it could have been a wee bit deeper, couldn't it? It wasn't BAD, but maybe Danny Boyle should've closer stuck to the original. And he did get a bit flashy showin off bonnie Edinbrugh, aye?!
