This is my #TheBookTable in Oak Park, IL haul today. Bad news at the doctor so I decided to use my new credit card to cheer myself up, lol ( until the statement comes, lol) I had a great talk with an employee about graphic novels and they recommended the one I bought. She talked about diversity and non- binary characters and really got me interested. Fun trip overall. ❤️❤️

Had a mammogram today so I was in the western suburbs and went to my favorite bookstore #thebooktable in Oak Park, IL!! My mom was ready to go but then I spotted this quirky little book right in my price range. Seems interesting!! Looking through the reviews just now I saw that @Soubhiville has it and liked it too!! Here‘s #stormy again. #catsoflitsy

Catwoman: Soulstealer | Sarah J. Maas

My Saturday afternoon: Crazy Rich Asians- which was awesome!! Then across the street to #thebooktable in Oak Park, IL - I think I am the only Chicagoan who has tagged this awesome bookstore- I got a SIGNED COPY of Catwoman- how cool is that!! Then I couldn‘t pass up the $2 graphic novel and Beasts of the Night was in my price range and seemed cool. Then pizza with a side salad and a drink for $6. Great day!! 👍🏽😊❤️😎✌🏽📚⭐️

Harry Potter | JK Rowling

My box set of the first 6 books of Harry Potter came today!! I got released from my cardiologist ( leaky valve no longer serious) and I went to Panera and #TheBookTable in Oak Park, IL, and then saw Hidden Figures with my mom. It was a great day! My sickly landlord said she had trouble getting my packages off the porch so please send good vibes to her. I am not going to let her guilt trip get me down though. Here's Mogwai!!! ❤❤❤😻😻😻📚📚📚

Mimi28 @Laalaleighh Thanks! So am I! I have mitral valve regurgitation ( the valve doesn't close properly and blood leaks through to another chamber - or something) but it's mild so I just need an echocardiogram every 2 or 3 years, unless anything else comes up. I was the youngest patient there I felt so weird. I'm so glad she released me and said my primary care dr can monitor that stuff. I'm still on something for my BP and palpitations. ❤❤ 7y

Mimi28 @stacybmartin @EloisaJames Thanks!! They have been monitoring it since I was a child because at first the valve was just closing weird but no blood was leaking through. I've been REALLY freaked out since Barbara Walters had to get her heart valve replaced a few years ago. It's always been pretty minor though, but still. Thanks I'm really happy about it! ❤❤❤❤ 7y
