dabbe Poetry DOES matter. One of the first items to go when the English standards in high school became a full book of things to do was poetry. If you didn't have time to fit one more thing in, most English teachers (at least in my department) let poetry go in favor of prose--and usually nonfiction prose, not literature. #suchashame 1y
