My favorite of the #SouthAmericanAuthors I've read, Allende is one of the few authors who can write magical realism I like. #fallintobooks

Purpleness I've been meaning to read her; which one would you suggest starting with? 7y
Mamashep @Purpleness perhaps my favorite of all of them was Daughter of Fortune. All are epics stories, lots of characters. 7y
Purpleness Thanks! 7y

I've read pieces of this book, but need to give it another try when I have time to focus. Anyone tackled it? #southamericanauthors #tbr #fallintoreading

batsy On my TBR after @Billypar's blurb awhile back. Sounds fascinating. 7y

I only keep books that I haven't read on my shelves (the rest stay with my mom) so these are the only two books by #southamericanauthors which makes me sad. Does anybody have any other suggesting of books I should read? #fallintobooks

My shelves have precious little by #southamericanauthors on them, so here's an old photo of Murchie with Alejandro Zambra's excellent MULTIPLE CHOICE. #fallintobooks

I don't own any books that fit the bill and I'm currently traveling so here's a book that I think looks interesting and matches the theme ~
